30 Days of Fat Loss–Day #11: DIY Fitness with “My Gym Trainer” Books

Clients ask us all the time what they can do when they are not training with us because they want to get in additional weights and/or cardio workouts on their own.  One great solution is to invest in the next best thing after an in-person trainer: My Gym Trainer books from My Trainer Fitness Publishing & Jill’s colleague LeAura Alderson :)  At JillFit, we love these books containing do-it-yourself workouts for at the gym because not only did Jill help design the programs and JillFit trainers Tara, Jillian and Emily are all featured fitness models in the books, but they contain challenging, results-oriented cardio and weight workouts!

This neat fitness solution has been featured in several publications and media outlets including AOL’s That’s Fit Blog, Glamour.com, Skirt! Magazine, SELF Magazine, YES! Weekly, Triad Magazine and Winston-Salem Monthly.  And don’t forget to check out the MGT books featured in Family Circle Magazine this month (November)!

Each of the 3 levels of My Gym Trainer books (Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced) contains 24 complete professionally designed workouts on removable laminated cards you can take with you to the gym.  Each workout card features accompanying photos to help guide you in knowing exactly what to do and comprehensive yet simple exercise grids that are easy to see and follow.  We love that the weight training is broken up so that the entire body is worked out every 3 days for maximal muscle-building and fat-burning results.  Chock full of plenty of fitness and nutrition tips, the My Gym Trainer books provide all the resources you need to get in, get out, and get results.  Hate working out at the gym?  Check out the featured “6 Pack” workouts for At-Home, Outdoors, Guys and Kids!

More great workouts will be posted on this blog over the next couple weeks, so keep an eye out :) Here is a short video clip of Jill showing you how to use the MGT books (http://www.mytrainerfitness.com), good luck!
