Hi everyone, Tara here. Last week, I was out of town helping out with my ailing grandmother. My first priority, of course, was helping to care for her, so the workouts I was able to squeeze in were very short and very intense…nothing over 30 minutes, with most of them being more like 20 minutes. A lot of people might skip their workouts altogether in this situation, but I find that fitting in even just 5 minutes of something helps me mentally be able to cope with whatever I’m hit with (more on this in an upcoming post :) as I am sure many of you can relate with doing the “balancing act”).
Below is a quick leg/cardio workout I did that got the endorphins flowing and muscles burning…I was in and out in about 30 minutes.
Be sure to warm-up and cool-down appropriately.
Equipment needed: treadmill and/or jump rope, dumbbells, bench. Set up your dumbbells so that they are close to the treadmill.
